Week 8 Progress

Image
Looking back I am for the most part satisfied with the work I have done for this class. I am proud that I still have an A in this class after looking at the chart. For the most part I have a good weekly routine and I try to stick to that every week, sometimes it can be a little out of order. The assignments I enjoy the most are doing my project, I like looking at the feedback and adjusting my project to fit that. My blog and site have grown tremendously and i think have only gotten better since I started them. For the second half of the semester, I want to really focus on working ahead and trying to make sure I get every assignment done by the end of the week, if not earlier. I want to make sure my stories are perfected for my portfolio and make sure my site is exactly how I want it to be. I would like to proactive for the remainder of the semester. Image Information

Week 8 Comments and Feedback

Overall, I find the comments and feedback to be extremely helpful. The comments I like the most are the ones that give me specific suggestions on how best to improve my writing. Also I like the ones that specifically tell me what is wrong with my writing so I can be sure to fix it. I would say that most of my comments and feedback have been helpful, I try and give positive and constructive feedback that the writer can use to better their writing. With people's blogs it has been fun to get to know people in the class since this is an online class, I have loved learning about what their different interests are. I think my introduction post is a good representation of myself and lets people know about my interests and what I am in college pursuing. I think in the future I want people to be a little more specific when giving me comments and tell me exactly what they think would work better. I chose this picture because i think the saying holds a lot of truth. Criticism is what hel...

Week 8 Reading and Writing

Image
Overall, the reading and writing assignments have been very interesting for me. I have learned a lot and I have also learned what kind of mythology stories are my favorite. So far I have liked the trickster stories the best. I am happy with both my blog and my site, I have designed them just as I would like them. They are both easy to navigate and have good layouts. For the most part I am satisfied with my stories, sometimes it can be difficult to continue to brainstorm but I think they are unique, my writing for my site has taught me how to fix my writing and make my stories as good as they can be. My biggest accomplishment in this class would be the sole fact that I have made my own blog and website, I have never done anything like that before. The notes the other students give me and the notes the professor give me are super helpful and give me great ideas on how best to fix my stories in a way to make them reach their potential.
