Final Last Words: Surviving Dead Week

Image
This week I chose to start my class early. I did all my readings and had all of my assignments finished by Wednesday. This was a really good feeling because I knew I had a final on thursday that i needed to prepare for. I also calculated my grade and realized that if i work on the extra credit I can make an A in this class. I made a schedule earlier this week to stick to and it made all the difference. I was able to get everything done in a timely matter and I was able to have enough time to study for my final as well. My best writing this week would be my story in my google site. I was given a lot of great feedback and it allowed me to make my story so much better. I love mysteries and stories about crime so my story i posted has been one of my favorites. My other classes are going well. I only have one more final to take for the semester. It is absolutely crazy how fast this semester has gone by but I have enjoyed each class I have taken. Next week I hope to finish up my last final a

Tech Tip: Canvas Mobile App

The canvas mobile app has been extremely helpful for me. Sometimes it can be difficult to use the safari app for the internet and navigating different sites. the app makes it easy and extremely convenient to check assignments, grades and messages. It also is great because it sends a notification to your phone each time something is updated in the app. This way you know immediately if your grade has been entered or if your teacher has sent a message to you. I have personally really enjoyed the canvas app on my phone and would recommend it to my friends and classmates.

Week 15 Story: The Three Seamstresses

Image
Once upon a time there was a mother and daughter. The mother had become very angry with her daughter because her daughter was very lazy. The daughter was supposed to be a seamstress but instead of doing her daily work she laid around. The mother was so frustrated with her lazy daughter that one day she began to beat her and the daughter wailed after each hit. While the mother continued to beat her and the daughter continued to cry the Queen walked by. She had heard the crying and decided to stop into their home to see what the problem was. When she arrived the mother could not bear to tell the Queen of her daughter's laziness so instead she told her that her daughter would not stop working. She lied and said that instead of lying around her daughter chose to sew all day long and she could not stop her. The Queen was amazed by this and told the daughter that if she were to come to her castle and sew all of her dresses and the rest of her clothes that she would let her marry her son.
